There are two (2) practice examination papers on this page for you to practice undertaking your theory exam. The examination papers are provided for you to self-test your knowledge and understanding of the information presented in the elearning modules as well as prepare you for an examination setting. The examination papers are set out exactly as you will find the theory examination when you present for your ALS credentialing. Click on the link below to download a pdf file of the theory exam, print out the exam paper and practice undertaking the exam in a simulated examination setting by preparing your environment and recording the time it takes you to complete the paper. There is a maximum of 25 minutes to complete all answers on the examination paper.

How did you go? You can practice the examination papers as many times as you like, simply print off another exam paper and try again. Completing the practice examination papers in this manner helps to prepare you for a real-life examination setting. It will build confidence in your knowledge and provide you with an opportunity to practice managing an exam setting. Some people become nervous as soon as a theory exam is placed in front of them, practising completing theory exams by simulating the examination environment yourself will help to allay this anxiety, build your confidence and self-belief.
Please note, these examination papers are not used when you present for your ALS credentialing assessment, however the examination paper you will complete is very similar to these papers.
